To help you protect your home, we’ve collaborated with First Alert and Honeywell Home, a leading smart home technology provider.
What's Connected Home?
It’s a discount program that rewards you for using smart home devices. It’s not available in North Carolina, and is only available for some members in Wisconsin.
Just connect at least 2 water leak detectors from First Alert and Honeywell Home and start sharing data with us. We’ll give you a discount on your USAA Homeowners Insurance.
Smart home early warnings help prevent costly damage.
According to the Insurance Information Institute, between 2019 and 2023, water damage and freezing claims cost homeowners more than $15,000.
Smart home devices can help you save thousands in repairs and avoid the hassle of filing a claim.
You can use devices you already own.
If you already have eligible First Alert and Honeywell Home devices, you can use them. You just need 2 water leak detectors to get started.
Make sure your devices are set up on their manufacturer’s app. Then enroll in Connected Home and start sharing data from your devices with USAA.
