Our year in review: Supporting you through every stage of life

Coming off a challenging 2022 for businesses nationwide, USAA focused on serving you when you needed us most. With the trust and support of members, we were able to provide excellent service, mitigate the impact of rising costs, and offer new products and services for the military community and their families.

Protection you can count on

When a natural disaster occurs, members can count on USAA to be there. In 2023, we paid over $23.9 billion in claims, with more than 350,000 catastrophe-related claims.

Decades of service

USAA Federal Savings Bank and USAA Life Insurance Company celebrated anniversaries of 40 and 60 years, respectively.

Improved service with personalized communication

Members’ use of digital channels continues to grow. With this in mind, we’re focused on personalizing each member’s digital experience to make doing business with us easier.

Healthcare designed with veterans in mind

USAA partnered with Humana to launch co-branded Medicare Advantage plans that are available to all, but designed with veterans in mind. Humana USAA Honor Plans are now available across Humana's nationwide network.

Preventing veteran suicide

Established by USAA and The USAA Foundation, with the Humana Foundation and Reach Resilience, an Endeavors Foundation, as founding partners, to launch Face the Fight™ to raise awareness and support for veteran suicide prevention.

Life insurance can be one of the most important ways for members to protect loved ones. USAA Eagle Express helps you secure life insurance instantly online or through our app by reducing the underwriting process from weeks to minutes.‍ ‍ See note 3
