We support causes that address food insecurity, housing and disaster relief.

Employee engagement

We empower our employees to give their time and talent to causes they are passionate about.

Giving that produces results

We helped more than 130,000 individuals, including veterans, receive 1:1 financial coaching.

Food security

We made more than 1 million meals available on and around military installations.

Employee volunteering and giving

Our employees donated over $13 million to nonprofits and logged 267,000 volunteer hours.

How we maximize our impact with prioritized giving

We're honored to support a limited number of causes through our invitation-only grant process.

While there are many worthy causes, we can’t support every request we receive. We're also unable to respond to unsolicited requests.

We don't consider grants for things such as, but not limited to:

  • Capital campaigns or endowments.
  • Films, documentaries, books or publications.
  • Political causes, organizations or campaigns.
  • Individuals or single families.
  • Museums, memorials or monuments.

Although we might not be able to give philanthropic support, nonprofits can enlist the help of USAA employees as volunteers Opens in a New Window.
